The DSNU standard modular system is an extension of existing standard cylinders DSN/ESN + DSNU/ESNU. The extension extends in two dimensions.
- Size extension with diameters 32, 40, 50 and 63
- Modular system expansion via 3 additional cover kits and a number of additional variants.
- The existing ESNU/DSNU is the basic cylinder that receives the variants. The ESNU/DSNU-design basic cylinders in sizes ø 8 to 25 meet the ISO 6432 standard. The ø 32 to 63 and cover and additional variants are almost-standard cylinders whose design corresponds to that of the basic cylinder.

- Diameter 8 to 63 mm for double-acting cylinders
- Diameter 8 to 63 mm for single-acting cylinders
- Double-acting P, P-A, PPV and PPV-A
- Single-acting pushing P, P-A
- Standard stroke lengths double-acting 10-500 mm, X strokes from 10 to 500 mm
- Standard stroke lengths single-acting 10-50 mm, X strokes 1 to 50 mm
- DSNU- basic cylinder: bearing cap LD with flange thread; end cap AD with threaded lug and swivel bearing
- DSNU-..-MQ LD with flange thread; AD short with air connection lateral to cylinder axis
