2014年9月22日廣州市公布全市蚊媒密度的監(jiān)測數(shù)據(jù)：190個點進行蚊媒監(jiān)測，其中61個點密度達到控制要求，合格率為31.9%。對比前天33.5%的合格率，全市蚊媒監(jiān)測點的蚊子密度仍未降下來。
入戶調查
廣東省市疾控專家表示，2014年登革熱疫情高發(fā)的一個主要原因與只能在外環(huán)境滅蚊，專業(yè)人士進室內滅蚊的工作卻難以開展關系密切。疾控中心曾進行過多次登革熱入戶調查，結果發(fā)現(xiàn)超過七成的市民并不配合。一旦這些市民又不自行動手防蚊、滅蚊，蚊蟲肆虐也就在所難免。
蚊媒監(jiān)測點
2014年9月24日,全市疾控機構共對287個點進行蚊媒監(jiān)測，其中92個點密度達到控制要求，各區(qū)蚊媒密度較高的監(jiān)測有195個。
