2014年9月29日，中國臺(tái)灣高雄統(tǒng)計(jì)高雄市計(jì)有2976例本土登革熱病例，含38例登革出血熱，其中29例康復(fù)、3例住院、6例死亡。38例患者中有81.6%是為中高年齡層，居住在苓雅區(qū)9例、三民區(qū)9例、前鎮(zhèn)區(qū)6例、鳳山區(qū)5例、小港區(qū)4例及其他5例。
2014年9月30日，中國臺(tái)灣高雄市今天證實(shí)上周再增10例本土登革出血熱，其中住在三民區(qū)的59歲婦人死亡，累積全市因出血登革熱死亡病例共6人。高雄三民區(qū)長明里死亡病例是59歲女性，無特殊病史，18日出現(xiàn)發(fā)燒、頭痛、肌肉痠痛、休克、腹瀉等癥狀，22日就醫(yī)后住院，陸續(xù)出現(xiàn)腸胃道出血、血壓降低及休克昏迷現(xiàn)象。
2014年10月2日廣東省*通報(bào)，截至2014年10月2日零時(shí)，該省共有19個(gè)地市報(bào)告登革熱臨床診斷和實(shí)驗(yàn)室確診病例16375例，較2013年同期相比上升2002.05%，該省報(bào)告的死亡病例已達(dá)4例。2014年10月1日國慶當(dāng)天，廣東全省報(bào)告新增登革熱臨床診斷和實(shí)驗(yàn)室確診病例就達(dá)1189例。在2014年總共的16375例報(bào)告病例當(dāng)中，廣州依然是疫情重宅區(qū)，該市的報(bào)告病例達(dá)13898例，其次是佛山為1567例，江門緊排其后為254例。 廣東省2014年累計(jì)報(bào)告的死亡死亡病例為4例，其中廣州3例，佛山1例。
