疫情發展
2014年9月19日零時，廣東省共報告4800例登革熱病例，廣州仍維持多區域持續多發病狀態，佛山、中山、江門、珠海等出現點狀聚集性病例疫情。不過流傳中的“廣州已有兩例登革熱重癥病人死亡”，是否與由登革熱引發死亡還需要專家做進一步鑒定。
2014年9月21日已報告超過6000病例。為更好地做好疫情防控工作，廣州市2014年9月22日開始公布各區蚊媒密度情況，提示區域疫情風險。
